Kraut Day 2026 - Saturday, August 22nd

It's back! Frank grew some huge heads of cabbage this year and my sister and brother-in-law have time to come and help us have another Kraut Day!

So with that being said, DIY Sauerkraut on Saturday, August 22 from 10am to 2pm at Lapacek's Orchard!

We'll be here to help you all make your very own bucket of sauerkraut. We'll be cutting cabbage, helping with salt, showing you our pounding methods, and you'll get to go home with your own bucket of salted, crushed, cabbage all ready to ferment!

Not into Kraut? Me either! But I am so in love with Diane's Cranberry Almond Apple Slaw (I seriously had four servings last night ...) and we're selling just the cabbage if you just want that while we have it too!
